Museums

Museums give us access to the world and also help us understand it. They build bridges from the past to the present and the future. What historical images of ‘us’ and ‘them’ are conveyed in museum exhibitions? Where do museum artifacts come from? Who do they belong to? Many museums are currently embarking on a critical revision of their own collections, looking for new approaches to role of museums in society.
