More than 800 migrant organisations in 21 cities have joined together in the “Bundesverband Netzwerke von Migrant*innenorganisationen (NeMO) e.V.” (English Translation: Federal association of migrant organization networks) to form cross-origin and cross-cultural as well as secular alliances. NeMO offers its members a platform for exchange and nationwide networking, as well as the further development of their competences. It represents the interests of local networks of migrant organisations at the federal level and advocates for more voice and participation of migrant perspectives. As a federal association, it is also a contact for politics and civil society as well as an advisor on questions of participation, development policy and anti-racism.
