Since its foundation in 1998, the aim of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation has been to strengthen a democratic civil society that consistently opposes right-wing extremism, racism and anti-Semitism.
For this purpose, it supports initiatives and projects that continuously engage in democratic culture and promote the protection of minorities. The Foundation supports and distributes the money in a targeted way where it is most urgently needed.
The most important task of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation beyond financial support: to draw attention to dedicated people on the ground and to bring the issue of right-wing extremism to the agenda permanently.
